Hi - I have a Peugeot 304s - chassis 3441781 - i recall this being a 1971 produced car - however my new V5C registration document says it is June 1973, how do I check the actual manufacture date ??
thanks.

Join the Club and see if the 04 Series Registrar has any contacts.

The best way to find out is to contact l'Aventure Peugeot and get an Attestation de Date de Véhicule de Collection. You have to join up for 23 Euros and pay a token fee for the research, supply proof that you own the car and have a photo of the serial number plate, but for all that, you will get a type approval document from Peugeot and also a letter with the serial number and the specific production date for your car along with its original export destination and colours.
