Bought a 3008 ex demo (reg sept 2010), had it 2 weeks and not yet seen the warning light for the glow plugs when I turn on the ignition, even when temp down to -3. Asked the salesman when he did a follow up call and he said probably would never see it as the latest engines don't need pre heat very often. Hand book suggests it should come on even if only briefly. If there is a fault don't want to wait a year till next service due. Anyone else have that engine and can me some advice.
