Hi all, the reversing lights are not working on my '75 304 cab. Firstly, are they a requirement for mot and secondly, where would I find the switch on the engine/box? Lamps and bulbs are ok so it's either the wiring or the switch at fault.

Not a testable item for the MOT, so no worries there.
However, cars built after a certain year have to have them to comply with Con and Use regs, so the Police may still be able to give you a pistol whipping. I'll check the year when I'm back at work.

It's at the back of the block below the starter motor.
