hi all do you need to reset ecu if a sensor has been changed? if you do how do you do iton toyota you just removed a fuse for ten mins and it resets

it would have to be reset properly on a pps laptop, dealer only

Do you mean reset the ECU, or do you mean clear any stored trouble codes?
Franks right, if it's the latter you mean then you need a dealer or someone with Planet to do it.
BTW, disconnecting the battery does not clear the trouble codes from the Denso ECUs that inhabit most Toyota cars either.
If it's a case of simply resetting it, ie, clearing the memory of any stored data re driving styles, fuel consumption and other such 'learned' data etc, then disconnecting the battery will do it.
