Hi all
First post. MOT failure so I googled it for advice and this is how I found the site. Piston Broke advised another to try GSF but when I entered the BLSV into the website search it didn't know what I meant. Is there another name for it ?. The spring is broken and a few people have advised to WD40 it and knock it a few times then fit a new spring. Any thoughts

Lordy, that's going back in time a bit. They're sometimes known as load compensator valves, or (incorrectly) bias valves. Take it off the car, and clean it up - once it's off and clean, you can peer into the ports and you'll see easy enough if it's working properly as you depress the lever. If it still works, then some kind of replacement spring may do the trick.
