Hello all! I I seem to have become a serial Peugeot owner over the last few years, so I guess it's time to admit that I like my Pugs and join the forum...
I have just acquired a G reg 205CJ which looks like it could be fun. I notice that it has the facelifted dashboard, but retains the amber indicator lenses of the early cars. It was registered in August 1989. Was there a sort of intermediate period between early and late cars, where some had bits of both?
Also it's currently on Speedline alloy wheels, which have been added by a previous owner. I'd like to go back to normal steel wheels, but what size tyres were specified for the CJ? I could do with the correct wheeltrims too, so I guess a post under parts wanted will be the next thing to do.
Is there any more info I can find out about 205 convertibles? I'd be interested to know about how they were designed, when they were launched, what the trim and colour options were etc etc...
