The picture below is the flier for last years event which also includes my car and myself holding a very nice trophy!
The event has been held in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire for the last four years and has been steadily growing and growing into quite a special little show. It doesn't matter what your interest is, be it classic, modern, tuned, stock, bikes, cars, trucks, whatever, there truly is something for everyone.
Usually what happens on the day is we meet in a car park (probably at Warwickshire College's Trident centre) and then convoy through the main street of Leamington before parking up on the green next to the Royal Pump Rooms.
There is an entrance fee of £5 for cars and £3 for bikes which goes to a worthy cause: the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Paying the entrance fee allows you to park up and show off your motor as well as enter categories which could end up with you taking home some lovely silverware. I should know because two trophies labelled, "Clean Machine 2009" and "Clean Machine 2010" sit proudly on the shelf in my room.
Typically, the show is run at the end of September, usually on a Sunday (so using assumption, it looks like it will be set on either the 18th or 25th). Warwickshire Modified Club ( warwickshiremodified.co.uk ) usually have a large presence there and it would be fantastic to get some more clubs supporting this event.
This really will be a "watch this space" thread as I will upload the details when they are released. Hope I've wetted some people's appetite a little bit but if you still need convincing, click the link below and check out these photos from the 2010 Leamington 100. Also, if you do a search for Leamington 100 on Facebook, there is a group on there especially for the event.
