hi everyone im a newbie to the forum and need a bit of advice i recently changed the injection pump on my 406 2.1 96 td after running it on veggie oil well my nissan serena loves the stuff and ive had no probs for over a year now but not the 406 anyway when i had it all stripped out i could see that the automatic tensioner pulley for the alternator drive belt was slightly off line so i took it off and tried to fix it by beefing up the rubber bushes that have a steel insert in them well when i put it all back together it and drained tank and cleaned fuel sender unit out it was fine and running like a dream until alternator drive belt snapped my bodge had made it worse so im going to fit a new or decent second hand one what i want to know is is it the same as a 2.0 hdi model cos there is 2.0 hdi at my local scrappy and there arent many 2.1s about or if you recommend a new one where can you suggest i get one from

Dont bother with 2nd`s they may be as "good" as the one on your car? GSF or Euro car parts will supply the units at a lot less than Peugeot Dealers.
