Hello.

One or two of you may know me from over on Retro-Rides (where I have the same handle)!!

I come from a family of Peugeotists....my ol' man was a CPUK member back in the early 80's, in fact his membership number was 016..... , and have just 'acquired' a brace of 505 SRDT's from him. One of which is to be my new daily driver, the other will be cannibalised as and when for spares.

In the dim and distant past I have owned a couple of 504's (a '79 1800GL and a '78 2-litre Auto) and more recently a 205XLD.

I also own a 1971 Morris Oxford which could, if you were pretty drunk, be passed off as a 404!!

and thanks to you Mr Braindamaged. We love 505's here be they standard like yours or übermodded like slaters! Nice to see a fellow RR'er here. Have had a few in and out when they'v ehad Peugeots. What was your dad's name. I'll ask around our older members, I'm sure he'll be well remembered.
