205 gti, won't start

Hi

Recently bought a 205 1.6 gti non runner, it will bump and run fine, but won't start on the key. Iv fitted a new starter motor and still nothing, the power is getting there and the earth is good. Iv hear it could be the brown multi plug? can anyone tell me where it is? Or have any other suggestions of what the problem might be.

it could be the brown multiplug under the airflow meter, or the ignition switch. if you remove the airflow meter you will find the plug, just cut the plug out and reconect the wires using conectors. also while ure at it replace the connector on the starter solenoid.as said could be the switch but very rare.
