::)hello again ive taken the plunge and had the dpf removed and the ecu altered to think its never had one so there are no more re-gen cycles. however a new problem has reared its head.... the engine lite has come on along with the dreaded anti pollution fault the codes are p0238 and P0234. i know they are for turbo pressure high and engine over boost but how do i fix this problem the garage thinks it could be the map sensor but are not sure. the car runs much better with out probs fuel is ecomonic but the engine lite is annoying any advise what to do next thank for any advise in advance

Could be wrong, but I don't think it has a MAP sensor as such. If it's driving ok you can probably discount any air leaks when it's on boost, so the boost pressure sensor might be the culprit.
Call me Mr Suspicious (Hi Mr suspicious!) but it is possible the new map is faulty. De-FAP'ing and tweaking the maps to not throw a wobbly over the lack of pressure differential is still a fairly new thing, and for every one I've come across that was a success I know of another that had teething problems and had to go back for minor software tweaking. The lack of FAP potentially increases exhaust gas velocity, and hence increased tubby speed and thus increased intake pressure. This might not be the case, but is worth considering.
Good luck.
