Hi, i bought a Peugeot 206, 1.1 52 plate yesterday. When out for my first proper drive in it a warning light came on in the top right corner of the dashboard. it was yellow and looked like an oil can. Checked the manual and it mentioned something about the catalytic converter? I have it booked in at the garage on Saturday but if anybody know a quick reliable fix then it could save me some money? ALSO, when leaving the engine idle for a couple of minutes the fan tries to cool it down, but it is VERY VERY loud and sounds like it is doing some damage?
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks, Lewis
