RD3 audio buttons don't work but..

I have just purchased a 2005 206.

The On/Off button works on the RD3 stereo unit but not any of the other buttons, though the controls on the steering column stalk are all working fine - is this normal ?

I can't access all of the functions through the stalk e.g. the Traffic setting ?

Someone out there who owns a 206 should be able to answer this surely ?

I tried the local dealership but they weren't sure ...unbelievable.

I don't suppose anyone at the dealership has ever been trained specifically to use/program every stereo, partly because it's not their job, and partly because every car comes with a handbook.

My advice is get hold of a handbook - try ebay, or go back to the dealers and order one. To be fair though, from my experience of RD3's I think there's something wrong with yours.
