Hi Guys,
Just bought my first ever peugeot 407 1.6 hdi 2008 diesel estate with 127,000 on the clock. Mint condition with Full Service History. Drove it back down from Newcastle to Manchester. As I got to the M1/M62 junction, the gear stick popped out of 5th gear and refused to go back in. Stopped on the service station only to learn that it would not go into reverse either. Managed to get it home in the 4 gears that worked fine. Just the 5th gear and reverse causing difficulties.
Any ideas what this could be please?
