Hi,
I bought my 406 1.8 (1998) six months ago and have now noticed that the temperature needle is shooting up to 110C after about 10 minutes driving, which is causing the STOP light to come on. When this happened on the first occassion, I topped it up with coolant and the problem seemed to dissapear, but now it is happening again. I seem to be able to continue driving, however, I don't want to continue doing this and then break down in the middle of nowhere. Can someone please advise, as there seems to be many different opinions across the forums.
Thanks
Siobhan
