hi ive just bought a 02 plate 206 1.4 quicksilver, its quite slow picking up, it gets up to speed just takes abit of time like i dno wether the timming is out, but there is no misfire or ticking any suggestions ? thanks

They aren't very quick cars at all. The 16v is somewhere around 12 seconds, so it wouldn't out drag a 30 year old Sierra 1.6.

ye i now mate but i had a 1.2 corsa sxi befor and that would of pissed all over this so i assume something aint right

lol there not that slow, infact there quiet a revvy engine. BUT without being able to drive it ourselfs, theres not really alot we can tell you. what you need to do is find somone who has a similar car and ask to have a passenger ride to compair them

The little Corsa is down on power, and a touch heavier, but has 30ft/lbs of torque more. While they were no powerhouse, the Corsa SXi did feel livlier than it probably really was.
