Have just mullered my 205 cti when I was trying to get it started after a long time standing by trying to start it with the battery charger still attatched!
When I cranked it over there was a series of buzzing sound from behind the instrument cluster which sounded like wires shorting out. now none of my dash lights come on and the car won't trun over. I have stripped the dash and the circuits on the back haven't blown, neither have the bulbs. I have also taken out the ecu and had a look and there is nothing obnvious which has burnt out.
My next step was going to be changing the ecu for another and them bypassing the immobiliser (but I don't think that'll be the problem).
Does anyone have any idea what it might be before I buy a replacement ecu? The plan was to send the car off for paint this week so it'll be ready for next summer!
