I have a problem with the heated rear screen on my 1999 (V reg) 206 1.4 GLX
The heated rear window LED indicator light on the heater control unit is permanently on. When I push the heated rear screen button I can hear a relay operating the BSI unit.
Despite being able to hear the relay operating, the LED indicator stays constantly on. Ignition on, off or engine running, no change to the LED.
Any ideas anyone? BSI need recoding?
Cheers dave

BSI may be buggered. Planet is the easy starting point.
PS, does a 'V' even have a BSI? Were they multiplexed that far back?

Yes it's definitely got a bsi. I checked the current draw on it today. With the HRW tell tale only being an LED it's very low - 0.01 amps. Bearing in mind that will include feed for the radio code. I don't think it will drain too bad.
What's planet though?
Cheers!

Sod it. It's only the warning led that's on. Checked the current draw and it's only pulling 0.01 amp. It'll be reet!!
Cheers!
