I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 55 REG 307 ESTATE 1.6 PETROL, JUST NOTICED A LITTLE KNOCKING NOISE UNDERNEATH CAR WHEN DRIVING, NOISE GETS FASTER AS CAR GOES FASTER, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS

Undertray loose and flapping about, or a dead pedestrian wedged under there.

ive looked at the undertray and its solid, was wondering if its driveshafts or anything else,

:-/ I have been searching through a load of sites about faults on these as thinking of buying one. I have seen somewhere that the thrust bearing on the clutch could be the cause dont know if that is correct just quoting what I have read.
