Peugeot 807 mirrors/ windows

Hi guys,

I hope somebody can help, my mirrors and windows will not fold/close any more when locked, however the windows will open when the key fob button is held long enough. I have seen numerous explanations on other sites but nothing that explains in simple English. My first thought was a weak battery, but I don't want to be splashing out on anything un-necessaries.

sounds to me like either the window motors have packed up or the bsi is faulty. do the fold when you pull on the mirror switch on the inside of the door?
