adding an avatar

sorry maybe a stupid question, but I'm trying to upload an avatar of my Pug!
I've created a flickr account, made a suitable 100x 100 picture, tried to link it in my profile, but when I press 'modify profile' nothing appears.
When I go back to the modify profile setting, all the links etc have disappeared... any techies can help me?

It works Ok, I've just changed mine and back again...

You go to your profile and in the field "Avatar URL" you simply enter the URL (format 'http://bladibla/totolulu/joeblog.jpg') pointing to your on-line mini picture. Mines are 100x75 in size and you need to indicate this in the 2 fields below the URL so that the length and width match the true size of your picture.

I don't think flikr account worked, so tried photobucket (like you) and hey presto!
