my car wont start without a tow although the battery is fully charged it wont start with ajump.but only needs a small tug at it starts and runs well enough until it is turned off.does anyone have any suggestions

Locate the starter motor, hit it hard a few times. Then try to start the engine. If it does, your starter motor sticks and needs repaired/reconditionned/replaced.
