407SW starting problem

Hi,

i hope you can help, we sem to be suffering an intermittent problem with our "06" plate 407SW

when starting the car i turn the key and it's dead i just get a click.

when i try again and the car starts.. this has happened on several occasions, we've ruled out any battery problems but now we're at the expensive diagnostic stage so hopefully someone can point out and glaring problem that we're overlooking.

By what method have you ruled out any battery problems?

hi all , i have the same problem , turn the key to start and nothing ( no starter engaging) battery has been tested and is good , starter tested and is good , there is no power at solenoid , please help me if you can it tow starts fine having said that it cut out while driving and now nothing ( it wont tow start or start off the key ) but battery and starter are both good oh my car is the 407 hdi 1.6 sw (05)
