Hello to all I've just brought a 1993 405 gldt 1769cc estate 150k with fsh it's in great condition apart from a few minor bits. I don't know if it rates as a good car or not but I've found my self loving it. One of the problems I have is that it has no remote for the central locking/alarm I have the key only. My question is can a second hand remote be re-programmed for my car as you can get blank blades off the internet or are the remotes specific to each car it is the I.R type.My other question is if a second hand unit isn't usable where would be the best place to get a new fob from and what would I need to do. I'm new to here and thought this would be the best place to ask.
