Just fitted replacement ignition barrel and key as I lost my keys,now car wont start,I also changed the little black Valeo box with all the wires going to ignition,car turns over great but wont start,any help greatly received

What year is the car?? if it is a late one then the old key would of had the transponder chip in it. If it did then have you replaced it with a transponder set and had it programed?

Its a W reg,so I assume it has a chip,I thought by changing the black Valeo box as well it would work as the Ignition came with its origonal key,or am I totaly wrong
