205 1.4 slight missfire and heavy on fuel!!!

I have a lovely 205 1.4 which missfires and cuts out if you just slightly feather the accelerator it is also using a load of fuel. I have changed plugs leads distributor cap and rotar, fuel filter and air filter. The car as only done 35K and as a ridiculous amount of service history some times only doing 900 miles per year.I have taken down motor way on a blow out with some fuel cleaner in and its not shifted. I think now it maybe the fuel injector as its a single point jobby. I live in birmingham and this is my 1st 205 and probably need help can anyone recommend a place to take it for a tune up?

Sounds like its running very rich, or your timing might be out.

Check the spark plugs: were they choked up in soot when ou took them out?

plugs look ok at spark bit black around the edges?? I dont think the fuel injection mixture can be altered? Can it? Can it be crypton tuned???
