Morning all! (Well, afternoon I guess really!)
Easy question for anybody who has either done it, or has access to a service manual for a 605.
I've assertained that the matrix slides into and out of position in the heater box through an apperture in the driver's footwell. If it were a left hand drive car, this would be the passenger footwell, and there would be no problems here, but... it isn't. And the mounting for the steering column looks to be in the way. So - How much of the steering and under dash componentry do I need to remove to slide the old matrix out and the new one in? Are there any shortcuts that I can use, or does that make it a PITA and better to remove enverything and be happy that it will take me about half a day to change?
