Its all one unit (comms 2000) and its very important to get the correct one for your model (part of the BSi),in other words pay through the nose at a Dealer (£150-£175 ??).Removal,........Find two holes in the side of the steering wheel, insert a probe to locate the circlip, press against the spring and the airbag will pop forward each side (be patient this takes a while to perfect).Remove the steering wheel torix bolt and wheel, then the comms 2000.There are lots of wires located by very fiddly locating clips so be very careful. Also make sure you don`t switch the ignition on with any wires disconnected, after removing the air bag set the steering wheel straight ahead and make sure it goes back the same way and never move the collum. Refitting is the reverse except the airbag just clips back in place with a push and the horn will be sounding and driving you mad.Take your time, study the new one before you start to get the idea of the wire clips. If you damage any of the wiring your in trouble.

I know Frank, but I could not be bothered to right in detail the battery disconnection and re-connection procedure. As you know if you just pull off/on a battery lead you can crash the BSi etc.
