Hello 309 fans
My old car is on its last legs but still has its head up high and turning heads with its ‘BAD’ attitude, mostly contributed by this unique number plate ‘P309BAD’
I believe that there are loads of proud 309 rally mechanics, fans or someone with the right attitude that would love this number.
Here's your chance:
This item will be on sale from e-bay (it will be the most honest way) from me woef indigo on 29 May and the bidding will end on Tuesday 4 June – this will leave enough time to do the transfer before the MOT runs out, making sure the transaction happens smoothly. I’m trying to get the best deal and the most coverage so I will be promoting the number in various places.
The car has a valid MOT until 7 Jun – the DVLA does not buy plates back, so this could be your last chance to own this novelty item.
The rules are:
1. The £80 Vehicle Number Plate Transfer is included in final bid. If you win the bid I have to fill in a V317 that I download from the DVLA website. I have to include my car’s valid V5C Logbook, MOT Certificate and Tax disc serial number and expiry date. For a transfer, the buyer’s V5C Logbook and MOT Certificate needs to be included in the same envelope and I have to take it to my local office (Worcestershire Branch) This means you have to post me your car’s documents and I’ll go to Worcester to have the paperwork done and pay for it. The processing takes about ten days and approval packs will be sent out to the relevant person. The item won’t be relisted.
2. You can’t make an old car look newer but you can make a new car look older. So don’t buy this number plate if your car is older than P REG.
3. The plates can be placed in retention and will cost £105 pounds to do and can be done at your request, but that will add to the price or the cheaper and quickest option would be a number plate transfer...it also means you can buy the plates even if you don’t have a car.
4. My old acrylic plates could be posted.
