I'm writing this on behalf of a friend. Said friend of mine ownes a 206 1999-2000 if I remember correctly. At some point he managed to pour a cup of coffee on the window and mirror controls that are between the driver and passenger seats and the result was the windows no longer opened and closed. After removing the switch console and cleaning it, function only partially returned (right window). After giving up on the old system I decided to order a new one from e-bay. More specifically, www.ebay.com/itm/320816514493?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and after comparing it to the original (pins and connectors) proceeded in replacing the Old switch system with the new. At first inspection everything seemed to function properly, but then we noticed some peculiarities. To be more specific when the key is turned to the off position and removed from the car, there is still power going to the electrical system and central locking system doesn't work. When I remove the connector that controls the mirrors (mirrors work normally when connector is in) power is cut when key is removed and central locking works normally. Incidentally car is Left side drive for those who may wonder. Thanks in advance.
