205 changing from steel to alloy wheels.

The standard steel wheels on my 205 Sceptre turbo-diesel are 165/70 R13 with a diameter of 22 inches.
I have a set of 175/65 R14 alloy wheels & tyres with diameter of 23 inches.
Can these alloys fit the Septre without any clearance problems? Many thanks for advice.

If they are Peugeot wheels from say a 205GTi I think you will be OK? As always you can not be sure until you have tried them......PS.....make sure you use the correct bolts for the ally wheels??

Thanks oldpug ... will fit the 175/65 R14 GTI alloys and check carefully for any probs. The French site 'Planete 205' recommends 175/60 R14 tyres on the Sceptre as they have the same 22inch diameter. Might go for those if the 23 inch tyres don't fit.
