Hi all, I am looking at buying a 08 plate M:Play and went for a viewing today. however, I was of the opinion the appeal of the m:play is the mp3 connectivity with aux port in the glove box. however, this one did not have it? does anyone kbow if some models were sold without it and if I get it sorted myself how much would it cost to fit?
I am tempted to just get one of the kits off ebay that plug into back of radio if not fitted but I cannot see why it was not fitted at manufacture when it is a "selling point" of the car?
Any advice appreciated!

You get the 3.5mm and aux jacks on the glovebox. 5 years ago that was pretty sweet on a small car, but as times moved on ones pretty unimpressive in 2013.
He M:Play is a nice looking car, and apart from the lack of alloys is well kitted too. Downside is the 1.4 8v engine which is woefully underpowered to tow around a 207, and not especially economical or cheap to tax. Sold my M:Play at only a few months old, just couldn't manage the painful lack of thrust. The 1.4 Sport is a similar spec and comes with another 20BHP, and these days can be had just as cheapy.

Good luck with it. Chuck on some Sport alloys and its visually indistinguishable from a sport. He original M:Play mats are highly prized so of you have them and they're in good nick I'd take them out and keep them safe.
Be nice to see you join the Club and the car at some events.
BTW, what colour is yours?

Hey Its the silver one, 08 plate on 34,000 miles. really good condition inside... apart from teh mats (typical!) the driver one is missing and the passenger front with the "M Play" stitching is a little worse for wear (like a pair of high heels have gone to town on it). Managed to pick up some genuine Peugeot ones on ebay though for £20 so not too bad. I love it so far - its a step up from my little 206 1.1 Fever that was starting to sound like a tank!! Took out a AA warranty on it aswell just incase anything should go wrong (touch wood it wont!)

Head gasket oil leaks on the cambelt end of the head, ad idling problems are the 2 main problems on that engine. If its oil tight and idles nicely you're sorted.
