I`ve never had anything to do with this engine,so for those who have taken one apart, a couple of questions. Am I correct that it has 16valves? ONE camshaft? and 16 rockers? Is this engine designed to brake the rockers without bending valves in the event of cambelt failure? Is it a straight forward job to change the rockers and cambelt in situ. If anyone can post an exploded view of the camshaft,rockers etc that would be great. Thanks in advance all.

I can see how this engine can be confusing.The cambelt drives one camshaft and a chain inside drives another camshaft. Bring back real Peugeot`s.
