407 2.7 V6 HDi GT 2dr Tip Auto

Hi 

Im looking to by a 407 2.7 V6 HDi GT 2dr Tip Auto from a local dealer it has 144K on the clock on and 07 plate at just under £3K

What should I look out for ?

A proper service history, check if the timing belt has been changed. If the mileage has been done under arduous conditions then it should have been changed at 136k miles. Which ever way you are on the borderline of having to have it done which is no easy job! Look out for leaks on the power steering pipes and air con pipes. Make sure the auto box changes smoothly. Any knocking from the suspension is usually drop links worn. Finally, the colour screen does have a tendency to close down but then it reboots because its got a hard drive in it. It's a bit of a pain but it always reboots. Finally, just double check the electrics are working ok.

I have got a 407SW 2.7 V6 hid auto gt and its the best value for money I have ever had! That cat you are looking at was over £30 k new! It's a lot of car for the money.
