Partner Tepee 2013 - Climate Control?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a new (2013 facelift) Partner Tepee in the next month or so.

The Citroen Berlingo, which is claimed to be the twin of the Partner Tepee, has 'Automatic digital air con' (aka Climate Control) as an option but I am trying to find out if this is available in the Partner Tepee?

I've asked on a couple of forums, and also my dealer, but nobody knows - yet being the twin of the Citroen I can't believe it isn't available.

Does anyone on here know please?

From what I can deduce from the two websites;
The Citroen digital air conditioning is available in an Automatic Pack on the XTR model only. It comes with auto wipers and auto lights aswell in that pack
The Peugeot only has Manual Air conditioning available.Digital air con is not an option. The auto wipers and auto lights come as an option in the Visibility Pack.

Also, It`s a bit dissapointing that your dealer cannot give you the correct info as its all there in the brochures?

Yes, that's exactly the research I did, and exactly what the respective dealers told me.

But, the drivers handbook from Peugeot's website, named "AP-PARTNER_II_TP_DAD_01_2013_GB.pdf", for the Partner Tepee 2013 (which has the daytime running lights in, so it's definitely the new facelift) clearly has the automatic digital aircon in albeit with the usual rider 'your vehicle might not have these options installed depending what was purchased' - so somewhere, a Right-Hand Drive*, English speaking country with 'GB' in their country name does have Tepee's with digital air con.  (There are two handbooks for right-hand-drive, one is 'EN' and one is 'GB' - so presumably the 'GB' one applies to Great Britain, whereas 'EN' applies to other English speaking countries..) 

(*DAD in the filename = something Á Droit, meaning 'to the right'. The other versions are 'DAG', something Á Gauche, 'to the left')

Also, if you configure the Tepee on the French configurator (www.peugeot.fr), the Outdoor model definitely comes with "Air conditionné automatique bi-zone" which anyone can translate to "2-zone automatic air con".

However, I rang the Peugeot sales line from their UK website earlier, who said the best people to speak to in this country were their largest technical team in the country - this large technical team is based at a dealer somewhere but they would definitely know - so she transferred me to them. They got the same A4 printed sheets as you and I have been looking at and told me there's no mention of Digital.... wow, thanks, great help.

So despite the overwhelming evidence that physically the vehicle is capable of having digital air con in it, I've reluctantly accepted that Peugeot UK have decided it is not available for sale in this country.  I'm very annoyed about it, but there's obviously nothing I can do.
