Hi all.
I'm planning on buying a another classic after 4 years of modern(ish) motoring (I had a SAAB 96 V4 for 5 years prior to that).
A Peugeot 304 Cab is high on the list. I've looked around on the web, but can't seem to find and specialist or parts suppliers for cars of this vintage.
I'm interested I someone could give me an indication the what the parts availability is like and perhaps a contact for a specialist in the South East.
Many thanks,
Finn.

Hello, My best advice is buy the best one you can that does not need a lot of bodywork doing. Mechanicals are generally OK to get but body panels are more difficult. The fact is that most of the specialists for new, repro parts are in Europe but do ship to the UK. We have one member who specializes in used Cabriolet parts as well. Have a look on our website as there is a Cab for sale there which I know has had a lot of work already done to it and is a good usable 304 Cabriolet. www.clubpeugeotuk.org. We have quite a few 304 Cabs in the club and it would be worth you joining if you do buy one! Hope this helps. Ian

Thanks Icky. I did a bit more research & figured 304's (in their various guises) are quite common in France, and the parts would likely be found there.
I'm assuming the mechanical bits are common across the variants(?).
And, I will most certainly join the club once I've got the car.
Finn.
