I'm on your forum trying to find a part for my 1956 Triumph TR3. The car was dispatched to France and then shipped to the USA in 1957 where the car is today (Arizona). The part was commonly found in Peugeot cars of the period. The part needed is the black back-o-lite lid for the glass windscreen washer bottle, it measures 4" in diameter, and has TRANSPAR embossed in the center of the cap. I know this is a long shot but it can't hurt to try. I need one in excellent condition without any cracks, patina is fine. Please let me know if anybody has one they want to sell. Regards Keith Davis

something like this ??you can see Transpar on the cap. that`s a Peugeot 404 parts page. Your going to have a hard time looking for 50`s Peugeot parts in the UK.The only place is www.peugeotparts.co.ukYour best bet is France,I`ve used these. www.serie04.com You can always talk to Mike Tippett in Canada who runs the 404 register on here

Thank you for your reply. The washer assembly that I have is a round squat bottle about 6" tall with a metal band that goes around the bottle to mount it to the fire wall or wing. I will look into the information you sent. again thank you.
