I have just replaced the clutch plate 190mm, oil seals, Overhaul the Master and new Slave cylinder but I still have very little clearance to the extent that the gears hardly clear! The only component not replaced is the pressure plate because I just cannot find one! I vaguely remember when I served my time on them many years ago that we used to increase the length of the rod between slave and release bearing folk but I think that this would over extend the pressure plate fingers and lead to pressure plate failure! Has anybody got a pressure plate Brevet Verto to suit or any better ideas! Chris

Will have a look but they're matched to the flywheel ideally. Are you sure the hydraulics totally free of air?

Yes no air in the hydraulics the pedal has pressure all the way and I am certain it is in the right way around. The more I think about it I think I am going to try and find a pressure plate or a full assemble.
