I have a 3 1/2 year old 807 2.0ltr HDi. I have been having a serious problem with this over the last few months.
On the information panel it comes up with "Anti pollution fault" and the engine diagnostics symbol appears. It has been back to the main dealer 3 times. They just re-set the CPU and say they cannot find a fault. I then took it to an independent garage. 1 who I have used in the past (to service my old 405) and has a good reputaion. So far they have replaced: Air Mass sensor Particulator diesel filter CPU update
all at a cost of over £600 and still the problem persists. Has anyone got a clue?

I too have experience this fault with my 406 Coupe - more than once!
Essentially the FAP (particle filter) has become blocked. The diesel additive (cerine I believe) makes the soot burn at a lower temperature....which is supposed to allow the FAP to regenerate itself.....every 50-70K miles a "procedure" (nobody from Peugeot will tell me....) needs to undertaken to clean the FAP to allow it to continue to function....or you could buy a new exhaust!?!?
I am still researching what this procedure might be, but I can only think it involves heating the filter to a sufficient temperature to burn off the soot its clogged with?
My local dealer wants £200 to perform this task!

this procedeure is called a particulate filter forced regeneration, it basically runs your engine at 4000rpm then injects cerine into the fuel which then passes though the filter to clean it. cant understand why your dealer wont tell you that, we do about 2or 3 a day. you car also does this itself every 2-300 miles. although as you driving it you dont notice it so much, although on a smaller scale.
