I know people have had issues similar to me with the wire driven window system on the 504 cab or coup.
As the last item on my restoration (been dreading it ) I have been looking for solution for some time and had eventually decided just to stick with the wire system.
However thanks to some pointers from the aussiefroggs forum I was pointed in the direction of Alfa's after being advised they were built in the same factory as the 504 and thus may have shared similar parts.
Having done some web searching I felt the Alfa 105 spider system may work and decided to take a gamble.
The attached pdf shows what i achieved.504 cc retrofit elec windows v1.0.pdf (724.9 KB)
I will update with more info and better pics when I attempt the LH unit.
Hope this makes sense and helps those who have had similar issues.
