advise re my 106gti

Hi guys,


I'm new here and after a bit of advise please.

I have an X reg 106 gti, which I have owned from new.

It has come to a point now where I rarely ever drive him and think that someone would enjoy him a lot more than me now.

I am female and have found it hard to get any advise from local garages about where the best place to advertise is. I just get a funny look and a shrug of the shoulders. A friend has pointed me in this direction and says that the friendly folk of this forum could help!!!

If that is the case then I really would be appreciative of any advise. I know there are several 106 gti for sale out there but mine is completely standard, owned from new and I feel an enthusiast would really like it!!

I maybe way off the mark and perhaps he is only worth the £75 scrap that I have been offered by one kind gentleman local to me!!!

Any advise would be great. Thanks guys.

First question,is it all up and running with a current MOT? if so it could be worth 300 400 may be £500? it would all depend on how it looks body wise.
They are a really great fun car and quite quick.There would be people who are into club rallying or track days who I`m sure would be interested.
Try advertising it on here or pistonheads.com or peugeotforums.com

Hi, there is a chap on the pscuk forum who is looking for a 106 gti.

I will share this post with him. Don't personally know the guy but seems to be a fellow enthusiast.
