Hello I've recently put my 205 1.4 xr back on the road. The car starts fine when cold and runs well but she's a nightmare to start when warm. I've tried messing about with the mixture but makes no difference. So any suggestions would be great. Cheers

Is it an auto choke carburettor model? if so sounds like the choke is staying on?

No it's a manual choke. I've weakened the mixture a bit more and it appears to be starting better but not well. I wonder if the timing might be slightly out. Would that cause the problem?

Of course it would, best to do it with a strobe light to get it spot on.While your at it go through all the simple elementary stuff, air filter, spark plugs, clean the breathers.By the way what year and engine type is it?
