probably not as simple as it sounds;
in or around 1981 Peugeot changed the linkage at the clutch lever end on the 104.
up to this point there was a cable with much the same attachment at each end.
At this age the attachment at the pedal end appears much the same, but the lever end has become more like a 'modern' cable car, very similar in fact to the 205, but the adjustment is still on the crazy lever thing, NOT by a pair of locknuts on the end of the cable.
My question is: does anyone know if the early 205 cable will fit a 104 of equivalent engine so long as the cable is about the right length?
