Hi all,
I of course realise that this is a bit of a daft question, not helped by a lack of pictures and information, but in general, what would be the likely range of value for one of these cars?
My customer is bringing me one in the next week or so to restore, lots of sheet metal work to do, but is reluctant to spend more than he thinks it's worth, and of course with presumably so few left, and being rarely sighted on eBay and such like, its a bit of a job to tell.
Can anyone offer a suggestion?!
Cheers, Tom.

Not daft at all...
Oldtimer-Markt Magazine in Germany publishes a list of classic car values (in the German market) every year. The latest one I have is from 2015. Values are based upon condition: 1 for the best show car and 5 for a near wreck. For the 204, condition 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5, value in Euros:
Saloon: 7700 / 4700 / 3000 / 1100 / 500 Estate: 9900 / 5900 / 4300 / 1500 / 700 Coupé: 11500 / 7500 / 4900 / 1800 / 900 Cabriolet: 18600 / 11400 / 7900 / 3200 / 1500
I think that 2016 values would be a little bit higher for most models, though the Cabriolet has been flatlining recently.

Cheers for that,
That sounds like a useful resource!
Saloon is the one I'll be dealing with, potentially, just got to make sure I can keep the owners enthusiasm up. It's definitely in the 3000 and below mark in current condition I'd have thought, I'll have to remember to put some photos up soon.
Thanks again, Tom!
