Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can help me source, or advise me on sourcing, a replacement central dash for my Phase One 205? For some reason the existing one has been broken open, the plastic dash on later 205's is a different shape - it's a pain as the white electric components reflect up to the windscreen just below eye level.
I'm also looking for a phase one drivers side wing mirror as it has the later 205 mirror on it. I don't know why this should be the case, but the visibility is no good out of the new model one on this car, I have to contort myself to get a view out of it!
In addition I'm also looking for a replacement gear knob, 4 speed, and, for completeness there is a small piece of the trim on the right of the stereo missing, please see photo.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has a 1.1 GL or similarly small sized engine 205, of similar vintage, 1987, that has achieved similar mileage; she's clocked 148k and is still going strong - I know the diesels and the larger petrol engines can get up to and even over 200k. I'm assuming she's still on her original engine, but I don't have the history to prove it.
