Missing Key for 207

Hi, Im new to the forum as Ive just purchased a 2009 207 1.4 Sport. Thing is, its come with just the spare key, that's it...no master key, so Im a little stuck as to the best and cheapest way to get a new key for it. Currently the spare key doesnt have remote door locking  functions, its just a straight up and down key which unlocks the dooor, and starts the car. Its a pain to have to actually put the key into the door lock everytime I want to open the door, so used to pressing a button and hey presto, the dooors unlocked by the time I reach the car.

I can buy a key off EBay for a fiver, then I think I have to get it cut at a local locksmith...but the programming would need doing and someone told me the manufacturers charge an arm and a leg...so any help would be useful...many thanks  ~ andy

There is a guy on the Peugeot Forum called "trustme" who can make a proper remote key for you.

It will be worth the expense,it's always best to have a proper remote push button key.Sometimes the only way to start the car after a battery removal is with that type of key.
