I have a Pug 307 Auto 1600 petrol 55 plate with 55,000 miles on the clock. I acquired the car in Feb this year with this fault, the car drives like a new one, but when it comes to starting it in the morning it can be a pain. Put the key in turn the key=click from the glove box area, wait between five to ten minutes until I here a buzz and click car starts and may run all day without any problems. The car might start first time next day without waiting and then find after stopping for fuel I sit waiting for it to start again. All functions work off the key as they should, new battery fitted in the key. I have done the BSI reset but no cure.
At the moment I go out and turn the ignition on 10 mins before I need it, then it's no problem. During the day the problem can be totally random.
I only have one key that seems to be fine, any info as to a cure anyone?
