I am trying to find some new brake shoes for my 304 Cabriolet.
It has the Bendix self adjusting system which has handed leading brake shoes each containing a pin for the self adjusting mechanism.
Compatible shoes I can find do not seem to have the locator pin yet the pin seems to be a permanent fixture to the shoes I have removed.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to the part with the pin or provide a part number for the correct shoe?
Alternatively is the pin removable and able to be fitted to another shoe or can you simply bolt self adjustor to a shoe with the hole but not the pin?
The Haynes manual says these come in sets of 4. 2 identical trailing shoes and 2 handed leading shoes with a pin.
Serie04 seem to have some at 30 euro plus shipping.
Thoughts please.
