Dear Peugeot 304 S experts
I have a problem with engine-knocking. My auto-mechanic and I assume that it is because that the distributor mounted on the engine does not have the advanced correction unit as Peugeot part no. 5901.58 (see picture "Peugeot picture - 1.jpeg", copy from Peugeot sparepart catalogue.
Hence I have some questions:
1) Will the distributor on picture "Peugeot Picture - 3.jpg" fit in my Peugeot 304 S with engine no: 3566189?
2) Which engraved number will be visible on the distributer with advanced correction unit, that will fit my Peugeot 304 S with engine no: 3566189?
Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the distributer out of the engine, so I hope you can identify the right type of distributor with advanced correction for my engine by looking at "Peugeot picture - 2.jpeg".
