Hi,
can any one help. I was under the impression that 504 cabs were only available in LHD and that the RHD models were converted by a company called holdeck(spelling?)
Some one has told me that about 150 cars were made in rhd and imported into uk?
does anyone know how many 504 cabs are reg in the uk and if lhd or rhd.
thanks

Your first impression was correct. All, yes all, 504CCs were built as LHD. Hodec did RHD conversions with the manufacturer's blessing. This was limited to Series 1 though, because, apparently, they could not fit the conversion kit around the V6 engine on post-74 cars and I don't think there was a single conversion with post-77 2.0l models once the 4cyl was re-introduced.
What is possibly correct, but I have no information on this matter, is the number of 150 RHD conversions.
